The AMPTP congratulated SAG-AFTRA on ratifying a three-year contract for the Television Animation Agreement and Basic Cable Agreement for Animated Motion Pictures. The agreement, approved by 95.52 percent of members, builds on the 2020 contract with yearly wage increases, substantial AI protections, and increased contributions to residuals.

SAG-AFTRA national executive director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland said, “This contract represents a meaningful step forward in expanding our A.I. protections” and “provides important new terms in the areas of foreign residuals, high-budget SVOD productions, late payments and much more.”
