Joint Statement from AMPTP and Location Managers on New Three-Year Contract
Sherman Oaks, California (June 5, 2015) - The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and Teamsters Local 399 announced today that they have reached a tentative agreement covering Location Managers. The terms of the agreement are subject to ratification by members at a later date.
The new agreement is for the period August 1, 2015 through July 31, 2018. Details of the agreement will not be shared at this time.
Steve Dayan, Secretary Treasurer of Teamsters Local 399 said: "We were able to negotiate a good contract for our Location Professionals with improvements that will benefit this group of hard working individuals. Teamsters Local 399 is committed to doing everything it can to protect its members while increasing production in Hollywood."
AMPTP President Carol Lombardini said: "Location Managers play a vital role in film and television production by finding locations that establish the overall look of a production. The new three-year agreement covering Location Managers and Assistant Location Managers will enable the Employers to move forward with plans for productions in Los Angeles that will provide employment for this group of employees."
